lubricates the skin and

and black pepper to improve

Anantmool:
It purifies
the blood i.e. removes the toxins. These
toxins when gets accumulated inside the
body produces various skin diseases. It
also pacifies brajaka pitta which is
responsible for maintaining the skin
complexion and texture. It helps
balance hormonal physiology which if
goes out of balance produces many skin
manifestations like acne, pimple etc.
Curcuma longa (Turmeric) Haldi:

is also used as blood purifier like
Hemidesmus. It is used extensively in
various allergic manifestations and
hypersensitivity reaction like Urticaria
and Allergic dermatitis. It has
antihistaminic property and is also
possessed with best antibacterial,
antioxidant and antifungal property.
Since it has been found to be effective
in tropical Eosinophilia, it is being
used in respiratory allergy too.
Berberis
Aristata (Indian Berberry) Daruhaldi:
It removes the toxins accumilated in
the liver. Also expels the toxins and
worm from gastrointestinal tract due to
its laxative and antihelminthic action.
In various clinical researches it was
used for psoriasis vulgaris and
significant relief was observed.

Acacia catechu
as a best herb for countering various
skin ailments. It is considered as one
among the best rejuvenating herb for
skin thus prevents wrinkling of the
skin. It is used for bathing, washing,
and drinking in chronic skin diseases
like leprosy, psoriasis etc. It is used
for contagious skin diseases and skin
problems where inflammation and
discharge are major symptoms. It has
anti-inflammatory, antifungal,
astringent, and antitumourous properties
which are very much useful in various
skin ailments. Tannic acid in catechu is
used as astringent, which tightens the
skin surface making it mechanically
stronger and also decreases exudation.
Aloe barbedensis (Indian Aloe) Ghrit
kumari:
Aloe is
used in all external applications
required for skin problems like Acne,
Pimples, Pigmentation of the skin etc.
Aloe has been well known since centuries
for its healing properties. It
facilitates healing of wounds, burns or
scalds as well as post surgical wounds.
It also helps in Blisters, Insect bites,
Rashes, Sores, Herpes, Urticaria,
Athlete's foot, Fungal infections,
Conjunctivitis, Sties, Allergic
reactions and Dry skin. Skin absorbs
moisture from Aloe gel three to four
times faster than water. Glycine in
Aloe gel repairs damaged tissue and
promotes healing while Threonine of Aloe
is a natural moisturizer. It also
contains Beta Carotene which helps
prevent Acne and other skin disorders.
Swertia chirayta (Chireta)Chirayta:
Its bitter,
antihelminthic, vermifuge and
antihepatotoxic property makes it useful
in skin ailments. It is also used in
worm infestation of the skin and
pigmentation disorders of the skin.
Bacopa monnieri (Thyme leaved gratiola)
Brahmi:
It is
useful in various psychocutaneous
disorders of the skin like Psoriasis,
Acne etc. Researches have shown that
psychological stress leads to increased
CNS levels of ovoid neuropeptides and
substances P which leads to certain
increase in dermatological complaints.
Bacopa reduces stress thus helps
in psychocutaneous disorders.
Brahmi also does the dilatation of the
blood capillaries of the skin therefore
improves circulation in the skin.
Pterocarpus marsupium (Indian Kino tree)
Vijay Sara:
It removes
excessive deposition of toxins (ama)
anywhere in the body including the skin.
It also regulates the functioning of
liver and pancreas. It is useful in deep
seated skin diseases involving fats and
muscles. It helps in healing skin scars
due to surgery or trauma and helps in
prevention of the keloids.
Santalum album (White Sandalwood)
Chandan safed:
Sandalwood
oil was used traditionally by herbalists
to treat skin diseases, Acne, Dysentery,
Gonorrhoea, and a number of other
conditions. The volatile oil in Santalum
album contains high amounts of alpha –
and beta-santalol. These small molecules
possess good antibacterial properties.
This makes it a potential treatment for
all skin infections. It is especially
used in summer related problems like
prickly heat, sunburn, redness of the
skin due to its cooling action.
Terminalia chebula (Chebulic Myrobalan)
Haritaki
:
It
detoxifies the body at the deepest
levels, removes the toxins accumulated
in the body especially from the
intestines and liver thus helps in
preventing various skin disorders.
Corallium rubrum (Coral) Praval:
It has a
cooling action like Santalum album. It
pacifies Ranjaka and Brajka pitta thus
improves the skin complexion and glow of
the skin. Also Coral is a natural source
of essential minerals like calcium,
magnesium etc. which are required for
optimal skin health.
