takes waste products away from the cells and
carries nutrients to them. According to
Ayurveda, it acts as a transport and filter
system that includes the lymph nodes, the
bone marrow, tonsils, appendix, spleen,
thymus gland, and areas in the bowel called
Peyer’s patches. It works as a filter,
removing bacteria, micro-organisms and dead
cells.
LYMPHOCARE is unique & synergistic
combination of herbs based on traditional Ayurveda principle which
cleanses the whole lymphatic system. Lymphocare promote healing
mechanism of body. Guggul help reduce inflammation and swelling.
Bauhinia has special affinity towards lymphatic system as it is found
to be useful in infective and inflammatory conditions of lymph glands.

Commiphora mukul
(Indian Bedellium) Guggul:
Guggul has been used in traditional ayurvedic medicine for centuries
in the treatment of a variety of disorders like inflammation, tumor,
glandular enlargement, thyroid dysfunction and also as a lipid
lowering agent. As per one clinical study, administration of guggul
extract reversed the condition of hypothyroidism (decrease in thyroid
hormone concentration) and increased hepatic 5'D-I activity
simultaneously. This indicates its potential to stimulate thyroid
function.
Its anti inflammatory and cholesterol lowering effect has been widely
studied. It has been found that Guggulsterone, a plant steroid present
in Commiphora mukul, suppresses DNA binding of NF-B and
NF-B-regulated gene products induced by tumor necrosis
factor (TNF), phorbol ester, okadaic acid, cigarette smoke
condensate, hydrogen peroxide and interleukin-1 which explains its
anti-inflammatory and anticancerous action. It is also found to reduce
the stickiness of platelets which compliments to its fibrinolytic
action. It also possesses anti oxidant activity.

Bauhinia variegata
(Mountain Ebony) Kanchnar:
According to Ayurveda, it is an astringent tonic useful
in scrofula (swelling of lymph nodes of the neck), tumors, skin
diseases and ulcers. Kanchnar is a safe and effective herb known for
its anti inflammatory and healing properties which makes it a natural
choice against conditions like fistula in ano, fissures and
hemorrhoids. It has special affinity towards lymphatic system as it is
found to be useful in infective and inflammatory conditions of lymph
glands. It is especially effective in swelling of lymph nodes.
The chemo preventive and cytotoxic effect (on tumor cells) of extract
of Bauhinia variegata was evaluated in N-nitrosodiethylamine induced
experimental liver tumor and human cancer cell lines. Oral
administration of extract of Bauhinia variegata effectively suppressed
liver tumor and decreased the elevated levels of liver enzymes. The
extract also produced an increase in enzymatic antioxidant (superoxide
dismutase and catalase) levels and total proteins when compared to
those in liver tumor bearers. The histopathological changes of liver
samples were compared with respective controls. Extract of Bauhinia
variegata was not only effective against liver tumors but also found
to be cytotoxic against human epithelial larynx cancer and human
breast cancer cells. The antitumour activity of the extract of
Bauhinia variegata (EBV) has also been evaluated against Dalton's
ascitic lymphoma (DAL). It was found to enhance peritoneal cell counts
and was able to reverse the changes in the hematological parameters,
protein and PCV consequent to tumor inoculation. A glycoside O-beta-galactopyranoside
found in Bauhinia showed excellent anti-inflammatory activity.

Asphaltum (Mineral Pitch) Shilajeet:
Shilajeet is very high in minerals, particularly iron, calcium and
manganese. It also contains benzoic acid which gives it a peculiar
resin/incense flavor. It is especially recommended in debility, lack
of vitality and nourishes the whole body. Shilajit purifies all body
systems, cleanses the digestive tract, lungs, liver, kidneys, urinary
tract and skin. It acts as an antiseptic and disinfectant, and is used
for fungal, yeast and other pathogenic or infectious conditions.
Shilajit is also a diuretic and anti-spasmodic. Shilajit is often used
with other herbs for different disorders. It is used with Triphala and
helps in fistula in ano and hemorrhoids. When used with Spheranthus
indicus, it helps in cystic ovary, fibrocystic breasts. It makes a
good combination with Commiphora mukul for thyroid disorders. It acts
as anti tumor when used with Bauhinia variegata. Its synergistic
effect is due to high fulvic acid which helps carry herbal compounds
deep into tissues of the body.

Spheranthus indicus
(East Indian Globe-thistle) Gorakhmundi:
All the parts of this plant have medicinal uses. It is widely used in
treating vitiated conditions of hemicranias, hepatopathy, fever,
gastropathy, hernia, hemorrhoids, helminthiasis, dyspepsia and skin
diseases. It reduces any abnormal nodular growth. The plant is
especially useful in treating scrofula (Tubercular adenitis). When
used with Acacia catechu this herb is beneficial in treating fistula
in ano, edema and cervical adenopathy. The decoction of Spheranthus
indicus is used for benign and malignant tumors.

Pravala Panchamrit (Corallium rubrum (Coral) Pravala; Pearl (Moti);
Mytilus margaritiferus (Pearl oyster shell) Muktashukti;
Turbinella rapa (Conch Shell) Shankha; and Cypraea moneta (Cowrie)
Kapardik):
It is a unique Ayurvedic formulation of Coral, Pearl, Conch Shell,
Cowrie and Pearl Oyster shell. Coral acts as a Pitta pacifying,
Pearl acts as blood cleansing and Pitta pacifying and the remaining
three regulates digestive fire, digests Ama (toxins) and replenishes
the body tissue. It prevents the unnatural decay of tissues. Its
synergistic effect improves the functioning of gall bladder, liver,
pancreas and spleen and dissolves the tumors of these regions. Praval
Panchamrit is recommended as one of the best remedy for fibroid uterus
and other fibro nodular growth. The Kapha–Pitta pacifying action makes
a good remedy against chronic disorders of respiratory origin like
tuberculosis. It controls the infection and act as good
immunomodulator and brain tonic which helps increase the internal
intelligence of the body and checks auto immune disorders.

Acacia catechu
(Cutch Tree) Khadir:
Khadir is widely used astringent and cooling herb containing high
amount of catechin and catechutannic acid which constitute its
haemostatic action in the conditions like bleeding piles and fistula
in ano. Taxifolin present in Acacia has anti bacterial, anti fungal,
anti viral, anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties thus acts as
a good prophylactic against infective and inflammatory conditions like
boils and lymphadenitis.
By virtue of its antioxidant property, it also prevents uncontrolled
cell growth by inhibiting the proteins responsible for cell growth
thus prevents occurrence of tumors (abnormal cell growth) and useful
in the treatment of cancer. This can be used as a protective measure
in cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy, as it lowers the
mutations in cells caused by free radicals produced in body after
radiation therapy. Several antioxidant compounds have been recognized
in Acacia which have ability to induce apoptosis (cell death) in
various tumor cells of human origin. In one clinical assessment, it
was used in breast tumor and resulted in decreased tumor burden, tumor
incidence and delayed the onset of mammary tumor.

Triphala (Embilica officinalis (Indian Gooseberry) Amalaki;
Terminalia chebula (Chebulic Myrobalan) Haritaki; and Terminalia
bellerica (Beleric Myrobalan) Vibhitaki):
Triphala is considered a 'Tridoshic Rasayana', with balancing effects
on the three doshas. Triphala combines both nutritional as well as
blood and liver cleansing (detoxifying) actions. It is a source of
nourishment and also possesses some bitter anthroquinones which help
stimulate bile flow and peristalsis. The nutritional aspect is partly
in the form of its bioflavonoids, high vitamin C content and the
presence of linoleic acid, phospholipids and other important
nutrients. It is a good antioxidant, anti inflammatory, anti-viral,
anti-bacterial, anti-cancer and anti-allergic agent. Its healing and
laxative properties helps in piles, fissure and fistula in ano by
keeping the stool soft which reduces pain during defecation and
prevents further injury to the ano rectal tissue. Researchers found
that Triphala “possessed the unique ability to induce cytotoxicity
(cell death) in tumor cells and it spared the normal cells. Read

Trikatu (Zingiber officinale (Dry Ginger) Sonth; Piper
longum (Long Pepper) Pippali; and Piper nigrum (Black
Pepper) Marich):
Trikatu is a Sanskrit word meaning “three spices”. It contains fruits
of black pepper, long pepper and ginger. It liquefies hardened Kapha,
increases Pitta and Agni (fire) and burns away the Ama (toxins).
Trikatu is an anti-mucus and digestive stimulant used to improve
gastric and respiratory function. It is useful in cases
of hypothyroidism, slow metabolism, congestion, edema, high
cholesterol, high triglycerides, obesity and weak digestion. Its oral
administration promotes the secretion of digestive juices and
increases appetite. It is prescribed as an essential part of many
multi-herb preparations, as it has been shown to increase the
bioavailability of nutrients, foods and other herbs. It promotes rapid
absorption of nutrients by the gastrointestinal tract. ead more about

Cinnamomum zeylanicum
(Cinnamon) Dalchini:
Cinnamon is high in antioxidant activity. The essential oil of
cinnamon also has antimicrobial properties. This property may allow
cinnamon to extend the shelf life of foods and herbs. Cinnamon's
unique healing abilities come from three components present in the
essential oil extracted from its bark - cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl
acetate, and cinnamyl alcohol. Cinnamaldehyde (also called cinnamic
aldehyde) has been well-researched for its effects on blood platelets.
The cinnaldehyde in cinnamon helps prevent unwanted clumping of blood
platelets. (The way it accomplishes this health-protective act is by
inhibiting the release of an inflammatory fatty acid called
arachidonic acid from platelet membranes and reducing the
formation of an inflammatory messaging molecule called thromboxane
A2.) Cinnamon has been studied for its ability to help stop the
growth of bacteria as well as fungi, including commonly problematic
yeast Candida.

Cinnamomum tamala
(Indian Cassia Lignea) Tejpatra:
It is widely used in pharmaceutical preparations because of its
hypoglycemic, stimulant and carminative properties. Hydrodistilled
essential oils of Tejpatra showed anti-fungal activity toxicity and
was found to be more effective than the synthetic antifungal drugs. It
can be used against fungal complications of tumors.
