Centella asiatica
(Gotu Kola) Mandookparni:
Gotukola is a great nervine tonic,
immuno-modulator, adaptogen, memory enhancer, cerebral activator and
free radicals scavenging Ayurvedic herb. It is commonly used in
herbal supplements for problems like Epilepsy, Stress, Anxiety,
Depression, Alzheimer's disease, ADHD in children. Gotukola has also
shown significant stress reducing properties in many clinical
studies as it increases the level of serotonin, a brain chemical
known to promote relaxation. Gotukola helps in repair of damaged
neurons by enhancing kinase activity, neuronal synthesis and
restoration of synaptic activity and ultimately nerve impulse
transmission, thus helps in Alzheimer’s and other degenerative
disorders of brain.
Concentrated extract of Gotukola
contains the active molecules – Asiaticosides. It inhibits iPLA2
(Ca(2+)-independent Phospholipase A2) and cPLA2 (cytosolic
PLA2) activities in cerebellum which is useful to treat conditions
associated with increased PLA(2) activity in the brain such as
epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other neuropsychiatric

Withania somnifera
(Winter Cherry) Ashwagandha:
Withania somnifera is an important herb used in Ayurveda to combat stress and described as
Rasayana. Withanolides are the most important bio-active
constituents present in roots of Ashwagandha which are believed to
account for the multiple medicinal applications. Withania extract
has been reported to have potent anti-oxidant and free radical
quenching properties in various diseases. Ashwagandha stimulates the
immune system, improves memory and is considered to be an adaptogen.
Regular use of Ashwagandha improves
