Tips For Spring Cleansing

Cleansing in spring season enhances self reliance and self esteem and helps to bring enthusiasm in life. People usually confront with multiple problems in this season like pollen allergies, hay fever, skin infections, bronchial asthma, gastrointestinal infection, dehydration and sunstrokes and thus the spring cleansing regimen helps strengthen the immune system to become more resistant to illness.  

Lifestyle Conducive To Spring Cleansing:  

Certain lifestyle modifications help in body cleansing. So they should be a part of daily regime. These are:  

  1. Regular bowel habits.

  2. Avoid forcibly suppressing the urge to pass urine and stools.

  3. Do daily massage with Bliss Vata massage oil.

  4. Perform exercise daily according to your nature and constitution.

  5. Do Yoga asanas, breathing exercise and meditation.

  6. Instill 2-4 drops of AllerFri Nasal oil into each nostril twice a day.

Avoid Ama Causing Foods:  

  1. Leftover foods.

  2. Junk foods, fast foods.

  3. Chilled water, cold food and chilled milk.

  4. Avoid excessive use of heavy desserts, red meats, deep fried foods, candy, chocolate, white sugar and carbonated drinks.

  5. Avoid noncompatible foods like milk and fruit juice, milk with fish, milk with yogurt. Maintain some time interval between incompatible foods.

Take Ama Digesting Foods:  

  1. Eat fresh, cooked and warm meals.

  2. Use seasonal fruits and vegetables.

  3. Use warm water after eating meals. It digests Ama and detoxifies the body.

  4. Take meals to balance your dominant doshas according to the nature of your body and existing disease.

  5. Drink warm milk with a slice of fresh ginger and 1/4th teaspoon of turmeric.

Recipe Of Spice Water For Detoxification:  

Boil one to one and one half liter of water. Add into it 1 tsf of fennel seeds, ½ tsf of coriander seeds, ¼ tsf of cumin seeds, ¼ tsf of ajowan seeds and a pinch of turmeric powder.  

Leave the spices in boiled water for 10 minutes and then strain them. Store the water in a flask. Drink warm water from this as per your need.
