Emblica officinalis (Indian Gooseberry) Amalaki:

Amalaki is revered in Ayurveda as a "wonder Rasayana" capable of delivering a diverse range of benefits to the physiology. It has a reputation as a powerful rejuvenating herb. Fruit is reputed to have the highest content of vitamin C of any natural occurring substances in nature. However, the antioxidant activities exhibited by Amla extract are superior to those of ascorbic acid itself. It can be taken during any season and at any age as it improves cellular metabolism, provides nourishment to every tissue and organ of the body.
